Conservatory closed until further notice...
As we are waiting for further guidance from the governor, we are unable to provide an estimated date of opening. We have moved the recital to August. The new date for the 2020 recital will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Pioneer Center. Your R.A.D. results are in! Email admin@conservatoryofmovement.com and Miss Miriam will reply with your results. It was a very successful year with all students passing and thankful we were able to complete the coursework before COVID-19. While we can't say when we'll open, our plan is to follow social distancing guidelines and open during the following months (May and/or June and/or July...) to work mainly on recital work and general technique. Students will stay in their current class levels until after the recital. We will probably post an edited class schedule to accommodate any special safety measures that occur as we transition groups, etc. We also plan to update the tuition schedule as needed. We know many of you are anxious to get back to ballet and there are many way to keep dancing at home:

Conservatory alumni, Alexis Andrews, has been filming some free ballet classes available on YouTube. She is on faculty at the Dance Theatre of Harlem and at ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. Miss Miriam and Miss Barbara were her first ballet teachers!
