A.V.A. Ballet Theatre presents the annual Nutcracker Ballet on December 15, 16, 17, 2023. at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s score with Laura Jackson conducting.
Principal dancers include Amy Potter as Sugar Plum Fairy and our own David Huffmire as the Sugar Plum Cavalier!
Performances are Friday December 15th at 8pm, December 16th at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday December 17th at 1pm and 7pm at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Reno. Ticket prices are $30 to $65 with discounts for seniors and children.
A special Sugar Plum party will be held after the Saturday and Sunday afternoon performances where children can meet the Nutcracker characters.
